Why Tektix

Good firms know what a job earned. The rest find out at year end.

The budget lives in Excel, the hours in a notebook, the invoices with the bookkeeper and the stock in the storeman's head. Margin arrives with the tax return. Tektix keeps all four records on one job — and does the arithmetic as you go.

Instead of five spreadsheets

One job, one set of numbers

Budget, timesheets, stock, mileage and the cash book all sit on the same job. Nothing gets retyped between files and nobody works from last week's copy.

Instead of guessing margin

Cost posts to the job at once

An hour worked, a materials issue, a kilometre driven — each lands the moment it happens. You see margin today, not after the period close.

Instead of dates in a diary

Deadlines the system keeps

Statutory inspections, vehicle servicing, invoice due dates. Tektix schedules ahead and warns before the date passes, not after.

How it runs

Price it. Build it. Bill it.

Three steps, one chain of data. What you price in the quote is what the site draws down, and what the final account bills — with no retyping in between.

01

Price it

Sectioned quotes with line items, your own rate book, margin calculated as you type. The client approves from a link — no login, no PDF attachment.

02

Build it

Weekly timesheets including piece-rate agreements, materials issued and transferred between stores, tool loans, and a mileage log with a rate per kilometre.

03

Bill it

Invoices raised from unbilled lines, advance invoices and their reconciliation, one cash book across bank accounts and tills. Numbering series to your own format.

Modules

Twelve modules, one database.

Switched on per firm. Start with jobs and timesheets; add inspections or property management when you need them.

Jobs

Estimate, draw-down, margin and final account on one card.

Quotes

Line-item quotes, attachments, and client approval by link.

Purchase orders

Supplier buying tied to the job and the store.

Timesheets

Weekly entry, hourly wage or piece rate, approval flow.

Stores

Multiple warehouses, transfers, tool loans and personal withdrawals.

Fleet

Vehicles, servicing, due dates and a mileage log at a rate per km.

People

Wage history, certifications with expiry, settlements and advances.

Invoices

Issued and received, advance and tax documents, due dates.

Cash book

One ledger over bank accounts, tills and cards, transfers included.

Documents

Drawings, contracts and certificates tied to a job or a building.

Tasks

Categories, deadlines and ownership across the firm.

Property

New

Building register, statutory inspections, defects and an owner portal.

Czech compliance

Global ERPs don't read Czech decrees.

Neither Procore nor Buildertrend knows what an advance invoice is, how a Czech numbering series works, or when a gas installation is next due for inspection. Tektix ships with all of it — not as a partner add-on.

VAT
Your own VAT rate table with effective dates — a rate change never rewrites historical documents.
Numbering series
Your own format for invoices, advances, vouchers and quotes. Per-year counters locked against concurrency — no gaps, no duplicates.
Mileage log
A rate per kilometre on each vehicle, private cars tied to their owner, allowances feeding straight into the employee's expense reimbursement.
Inspection intervals
An inspection catalogue with intervals drawn from Government Regulations No. 190–193/2022 Sb. (designated technical equipment), Decree No. 34/2016 Sb. (flues) and Decree No. 246/2001 Sb. (fire safety equipment).
Owner associations
Units and shares in the common parts, the joint representative of a unit's co-owners under § 1185 of the Civil Code, and association bodies under § 1205. Written resolutions outside the assembly (§ 1210 and § 1211) are in preparation.
GDPR
National identification numbers and wages are bound to the role. An operative sees their own records and never a colleague's.
Quotes

The client approves from a link. No login.

Send the link, the client sees the line items, the attachments and your letterhead — and clicks Approve. You get an email, the quote changes state, and it becomes a job. Cost prices and margin stay on your side; the client never sees them.

  • Sections and line items with your own units
  • Internal cost against client price, margin live as you type
  • Attachments downloadable straight from the link

Company overview

Nine numbers that say where the firm stands.

Money in the bank and the tills, receivables and payables, unbilled work, unpaid wages, advances awaiting reconciliation. All as of today — not as of the last close. Open it in the morning and you know what needs dealing with.

Every number drills through to the document it came from. The activity log shows who changed a record and when — including retroactive edits to documents already paid.

Comparison

Where Tektix differs

Honestly: for large infrastructure work with BIM coordination, choose Procore. For a Czech firm of up to two hundred people that builds, maintains and has to bill for it, Tektix is the closer fit.

Roles

Everyone sees exactly their own.

Permissions attach to a role within a specific firm. One account can be an owner of one company and the bookkeeper of another.

Owner

The whole operation and the money, plus members, firms and creating further companies.

Site manager

Jobs, timesheets, stores, mileage, quotes and purchase orders. No tills, no wages.

Bookkeeper

Cash book, invoices, advances and vouchers in depth. Operations read-only.

Operative

Own timesheets, mileage and settlements. Never a colleague's wage or ID number.

FAQ

What people ask first

Something missing? Write to info@virtux.cz.

What is Tektix?

Tektix is a construction ERP for building and maintenance firms in Czechia. It brings jobs, quotes, timesheets, stores, fleet, invoices and the cash book into one database, so a firm sees cost and margin continuously rather than after the period close.

Who is Tektix for?

Czech building, trade and maintenance firms of roughly five to two hundred people that run their own jobs and their own crews. The property module also covers service companies and owner associations.

How does Tektix differ from Procore or Buildertrend?

Procore and Buildertrend manage the project. Tektix runs the whole company including the money, and knows the Czech environment — VAT, numbering series, advance invoices, mileage logs and statutory inspection intervals. The interface runs in Czech and English; support is in Czech.

Does Tektix replace an accounting package?

No, and it does not try to. Tektix keeps the operational records and the cash book; double-entry bookkeeping and tax filings stay with your accountant, who receives documents in a form they already work with.

How does the move from Excel or Access work?

History is migrated with the age of each record intact — Tektix itself began as a migration of an operational database more than ten years old. Stock usually starts from zero at the changeover date, while jobs and contacts come across in full.

What does Tektix cost?

From 590 CZK per office user per month on the Crew tier, 990 CZK on Company and 1,490 CZK on Estate, all excluding VAT. Employees who only record their own timesheets and mileage are not counted, and there is no limit on how many of them there are.

Is Tektix available in English?

Yes. The application and this site both run in Czech and English, switched per user. Printed documents follow the language you set for each client — useful for foreign-owned firms operating in Czechia.

See your own jobs in a single afternoon.

We'll show you Tektix on your own data — one real job, one week of timesheets. You'll see the margin you currently work out by hand.
